Reviewed by: Marie T. Russell Whether you're wanting entertainment, or seeking a new perspective on UFOs, this novel provides both. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I started reading this book. The title "Little Green Men" made me think of strange science fiction with even stranger extraterrestrials. Instead, I encountered a whole civilization with its own mores and behaviors -- some of which were similar to "earthlings" -- violence, jealousy, families, careers, etc. The story itself holds suspense, excitement, and a good-guys bad-guys plot as well, both among the extraterrestrials and among humans (another similarity between our races). While this story is fictional, it does weave in some "real-life" facts like the Roswell UFO cover-up, as well as the "competition" and lack of communication between the FBI, the CIA, and other governmental agencies. Because of this, and the fact that the author was an analyst with Army Military Intelligence, one wonders how much of this could be based on reality and how much of it is complete fiction. Regardless of your answer to that question, the novel is an entertaining read -- and one remains wondering whether it has seeds of truth to a foreseeable future event.... REVIEWED
