Perhaps the greatest
question ever asked is "What happens after we die?" Every human being
eventually deals with this question and ponders the mysterious answer.
But, until it's our turn to travel to the Other Side, we can't know what
we will find. Or can we?
Renowned psychic and
spiritual teacher, Sylvia Browne, tells us what she has discovered
during her studies in "Life On The Other Side." As a self-professed
"naturally skeptical" person, Sylvia doesn't just take her Spirit
Guides' word for it when they give her new information. She exhaustively
studies and researches before she presents anything to her many readers.
But, once she is sure, we are treated with books like this one.
With the admonition to
"pay attention to any detail that rings some quiet, comforting bell in
your soul," Browne takes us on a journey of the Other Side. Beginning
with what happens to us at the time of death, the story tantalizes us
with what comes when we arrive on the Other Side. No world of simple
bowing and scraping to a Supreme Being, Browne believes we continue to
be invited to use our creativity and intelligence to worship our
Creator, and to carry on worthwhile work as well as joyful play.
Though I cannot know for
sure if Browne's descriptions are true, I have to admit that her vision
of the Other Side was both comforting and exciting to me. The appendix
of "Life On the Other Side" also provides much to ponder, with its list
of forty-four Life Themes, used to discover what your purpose is here on
Earth.
I have read many of
Sylvia Browne's books, and though I read this one with a healthy dose of
skepticism, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. I highly
recommend this book full of stunning imagery of life after death.
