Stuart
Wilde is such an amazing author, reading his work always blows my mind --
thus it was with great anticipation that I began to read his new book,
Sixth Sense. I was not disappointed, finding a text rich in meaning yet
easily understood. I was taken on a sacred shamanic journey helping me to
develop a new awareness and understanding of life.
Developing
sixth sense can help us improve the quality of our lives by giving us a
greater sense of self and the tools to make the best possible choices in
any situation. It also helps us to see things that we would not usually
notice, and to think of great ideas whose potential we may not have
otherwise seen.
One
thing that I liked about Sixth Sense was that it explained spiritual
phenomena in a scientific way, bridging the gap between physics and
mysticism. Have you ever had a spiritual debate with a cynic and found it
hard to prove your beliefs? Stuart Wilde gives you a great foundation to
work from; spiritual ideas are given depth and broken down into digestible
ideas.
The
real aim of the book is to help you develop your intuition with exercises
outlining ways to connect to the senses, nature, the etheric, the future,
the universe, and your own inner power. Wilde asks readers to take the
path of truth and light and to reconnect with all things. "By
connecting to everything all of life -- both internal and external --
becomes a symbol of self."
Reading
the book I began to believe that anything is possible. I found exercises
outlining what I had been doing for years and others that I had never read
or learned anywhere else. The exercises were able to be used straight away
and are effective in raising perception, and learning from nature. This
opens you up to life and helps you to feel more alive. Exercises are
easily incorporated into daily life -- you can do them while standing in
line at the supermarket, waiting for a train, or having a bath.
Now
that I have read the Sixth Sense I feel personally empowered. I am able to
have Outer Body Experiences (OBE), to pick up on the energy of people and
situations so that I can make the right decisions for my life. My
intuition has kicked in so that I know I can trust my initial feelings on
any situation. This has helped me in my career, my relationships, and my
finances.
Stuart
Wilde would be an interesting man to talk to. I imagine that he would be
one of those people with a million ideas spilling forth, each one as
mind-shattering as the last. Reading the book is like having a
conversation with this phenomenally intelligent man as he shares his
lifetime’s work.
The
book relates to so many areas of my life that I am often referring to it in
discussions with friends. I am going to be using Sixth Sense as a textbook
for my spiritual journey for years to come.
