Richard Fuller,
Here is a wonderful book about love and relationships that is Biblical in its expanse. Skymates encompasses, from an astrological position, a length and breadth of information that while metaphysical, is usually verifiable---and always provocative. Authors and partners Jodie and Steven Forrest have rewritten their 1989 hit (published then by Bantam) and published it themselves---allowing them the freedom to expand your knowledge of their vision, even further. This reviewer calls your attention to (only) two aspects of Skymates, a tough choice made due to space constraints. In Chapter One, Magic or Murderous Mythology, the authors write, "...no matter how inspired our choice of partners, relationships are still perhaps the greatest challenge life will ever offer us." But Skymates shows us how evolutionary astrology can offer practical and usable insights into one another and into the relationship. These are lessons that can aid in trust issues, fear of intimacy issues, and even commitment issues. Another facet of this far-reaching gem is Chapter Thirteen, Interaspects. Using the diverse personalities of The Who’s Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend as examples, Skymates refers the reader to the astrological connections between their suns and moons. The chapter continues with detailed descriptions of the energies involved in the interactions of all of the planets in any two birthcharts. This is a reference you’ll probably come back to time and time again. Skymates is a marvelous combination of good writing and good information. The deep insights authors Jodie Forrest and Steven Forrest provide are a beacon that illuminates a path to success and joy from a soulmate relationship!
