The Chakra Meditations for Energy, Maintenance, and Healing

The Chakra Meditations can be thought of as maintenance for the body’s Energetic System. Similar to getting an oil change every 3,000 miles, you benefit from doing some sort of Chakra Meditation regularly. Just as you wash your car when it is dirty, you can use a Chakra Meditation to clean up whenever you are not feeling your best.

Besides basic maintenance, the Chakra Meditations are helpful to boost your energy when someone around you has a cold or you are not feeling well. The Chakra Meditations can be especially helpful in that crucial time when you feel that first throat tickle. Yet no meditation is a substitute for going to the doctor. Think of the Chakra Meditations as your energy cleaners and boosters. If you have been around someone who is pushy or needy, either Chakra Meditation will help minimize the effect of that person.

The Chakra Meditation – Healing Color

1. Inhale deeply and with each exhalation feel your shoulders relaxing.

2. Return to breathing normally.

3. Inhale and imagine that you are breathing in healing green light.

4. Allow the green light to go into your body on a cellular level, swirling around like scrubbing bubbles.

5. Continue to breathe in and out as you visualize the green light expanding throughout your body.

6. Once your body is full of healing green light, on your next out-breath, imagine all the dis-ease, discordant energy, tension, and frustration leave your body and be sent to the light to be transmuted into healing energy for you.

7. Repeat for a total of three cycles of healing green light.

8. Repeat the process again with golden light for another three cycles to act as a soothing and loving finish.

9. Remember to ask the Recycling Angels to come and clean up!

The Chakra Meditations for Energy, Maintenance, and HealingThe Chakra Meditation – Balancing the Chakras

Due to the length of this meditation, it might be better read into a recorder and played back when you want to use it.

1. Inhale deeply and with each exhalation feel your shoulders relaxing.

2. Return to breathing normally.

3. Imagine a vibrant rainbow above your head with all the colors: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, indigo, and violet.

4. See the red of the rainbow enter the top of your head, known as your Crown Chakra. Allow it to fill your body from head to toe, like scrubbing bubbles.

5. Focusing on the base of your spine, allow the red light to clear and clean the Root Chakra with the intention that you have all the energy you need for your tasks today.

6. Exhale and release the blockages and lower vibrational energy that has been cleared or cleansed.

7. Repeat the process, bringing in orange light, focus on your pelvic area and intend a strong ability to positively connect with those you meet today.

8. Exhale, releasing anything that has been cleared or cleansed.

9. Bring in Yellow, focused on your stomach. This time ask that you use your power well, knowing when to stand up for yourself and when to let things go.

10. Release anything that has been cleared or cleansed, as you exhale.

11. Focus on your heart and visualizing the light coming from the rainbow, as you choose a green color that feels soothing to you.

12. Intend that you are able to see the interconnectedness of all you meet and bring the most loving energy you can to any situation you are in.

13. Exhale and release anything that has been cleared or cleansed.

14. Feel your throat muscles relaxing as the blue light enters the top of your head and fills your entire body. Ask that you have the ability to express your truth in a way that is compassionate and clear.

15. Exhale, releasing anything that has been cleared or cleansed.

16. Bring in the indigo light. It will fill you entirely yet spend more time around your head than the rest of your body.

17. Focusing just above your eyes, ask that you be open to all the guidance available to you from your soul, guides, and angels.

18. Release anything that has been cleared or cleansed, as you exhale.

19. Ask that you be guided by your highest potential, as the violet light enters and pervades your body, especially at the top of your head.

20. Exhale, releasing anything that has been cleared or cleansed.

21. Finish by taking a moment to ground yourself.

Where and When to Practice Chakra Meditations

You can practice your Chakra Meditations whenever you do not need your attention to be focused outwardly. You can use other colors in the Chakra Healing Color Meditation depending on the issue you are working on, but green, white, and gold work the best. Do not use platinum or diamond colors unless familiar with the side effects. Neither meditation is to be used while driving, as your focus will be inward and not paying attention to your surroundings.

If you want to get the most of your Chakra Meditations, focus your intent to manifest healing by using the color associated with the Chakra corresponding to the issue you are working on. In the example of the Healing Color Meditation, green is used. Green relates to the Heart Chakra and helps you feel love and compassion toward yourself and others. When you set your intention for love and compassion along with using the color green as you inhale and exhale, it will strengthen the effect of the meditation.
