This page is the horoscope that was posted two weeks prior to the United States 2000 election. The first paragraph in the Overview (see below) proved to be a very accurate prediction for the "election fiasco" that is currently in progress. InnerSelf's astrologer, Eliza Bassett, had this one "nailed" two weeks prior to the election. Congratulations Eliza on your accuracy!

This period ends as Mercury goes direct on the day of federal, state, and local elections in the USA. Most of the country will be voting in that retrograde time. There may be problems with tallying the counts and reporting the data. Also, there may be 'missing' votes that will change the results after the election has been 'declared' for one candidate.

There is the last connection of the air grand trine as Mars moves through Libra, tying in Neptune to Saturn. Spiritual messages may be acted upon that bring results in the material world. The last outer planet stations to go direct on the 26th, allowing us to be able to hear and process directly all the messages we receive from all the vibrations around us.

The new moon is waxing, expanding all our emotional natures into deep waters. If they are too overwhelming with all the hidden and repressed messages, find help through the appropriate counselors. Remember, what you repress or hide, will rule your life in weird and uncontrollable ways. By cleaning up our emotional trauma, one by one, we do heal the world.
