We should be aware of messages coming from angels. My friend and colleague Eddie Mullins can certainly attest to that. One night when he was driving on an interstate, he heard an angel suddenly warning him to change lanes now. He did, and seconds later, a semi-truck entering the highway from an on-ramp turned over on its side, landing in the lane where Eddie had just been.
After that encounter, Eddie began asking for everyday guidance, healing, and training from the angelic realm. He is now a gifted angel communicator, workshop leader, and a popular radio personality on SoulsJourneyRadio.com. Eddie explains more about these high-vibration beings:
When we think of angels, beings of light and love sent directly from the Creator, we immediately feel warmth and unconditional love. The angels' main role is to deliver divine messages of love, peace, and harmony from the Creator. They are actually the full extension of the Creator, and they are all around us to provide healing and to help us remember who we are so that we can live out our life's purpose while we are here on the Earth plane. Angels are ego-less and nondenominational and love all beings.
Because their love is pure and unconditional, angels are always ready and willing to assist all who request their help. In fact, they want us to ask them for help. Because of free will, angels can only help us if we ask them to — unless we are in a life-threatening situation, and it's before our time. There are many types of angels, but the two types that we work with the most are the guardian angels and archangels.
Your guardian angels are assigned to you when you are born and stay with you until you return home to the spirit world. Everyone has at least four guardian angels. Some people have more because they (or someone close to them) requested more, perhaps for health and healing or because of other important issues occurring in their lives. The role of the guardian angels is to support, encourage, and protect us on all levels. The archangels are larger in size and more powerful than the rest of the angels. They are, in fact, leaders who oversee the guardian angels and the entire angelic realm. There are hundreds upon thousands of archangels, but only 15 to 20 work closely with us on Earth. Because they are very powerful beings who have strong healing and teaching powers, more and more archangels are coming forward to work with us now. All archangels have specialties, and the archangel with the most appropriate specialty is the one who will show up to help when requested.
Angels In Forms We Don't Expect
Many times, angels show up in forms we don't expect. For example, my mother conducted a reading long ago for a woman who handed her a silver coin. As my mother held the coin, a feeling of impending doom overwhelmed her. Feelings of abdominal pain, intense fear, and physical death followed.
"This coin holds death," my mother told the woman, who then told my mother to put the coin down and go wash her hands and then she would tell her something about the coin. My mother did this, and when she returned to the table, the woman then told her an amazing story. Years earlier, the woman's six-year-old son was playing in the front yard while the woman was in the kitchen. When the boy's ball rolled into the street, he ran to retrieve it without looking. The woman then heard a horrendous crash and ran out to find that a milk truck had hit her son. He was bleeding badly from his mid-section, and his injuries appeared life-threatening. Someone called an ambulance, and a crowd of people gathered around the scene. As the mother knelt by her son, an authoritative man in a black suit suddenly appeared standing over them. He bent down and handed the boy a silver coin.
"Squeeze this coin when it hurts," he told the boy. No one paid much attention to the man, who promptly disappeared into the crowd.
The boy grasped the coin and held it all the way to the hospital until the nurses had to pry it out of his little hand to take him into surgery. When he came out, his mother sat at his hospital bedside, praying he would just make it to the morning. He did, and eventually, the boy made a full recovery. The coin the stranger gave the boy was the coin the woman gave my mother to hold.
"Who was this man who gave my son the coin?" she asked my mother. "He disappeared, and no one has seen him since."
"The mysterious man in the black suit was your son's guardian angel," my mother explained. "He manifested in physical form when your son needed him, to intervene and save his life. All the energies of pain, fear, and death that were within your son were pushed into this coin, and his life was spared." As this story clearly illustrates, we are never alone, because our guardian angels are always nearby, offering protection, guidance, and unconditional love.
Working With Your Guides: Signs, Meditation, Dreams
Once we meet and establish a relationship with our guides, it is important that we come to an agreement with them to work together as a team to expand our light energy as much as possible. Just because we have spirit guides does not mean that we don't have free will to do what we want.
Our guides are here to guide us, not take us over or tell us what to do. We can contact them and ask for their guidance and help in three common ways — by being observant and watching for signs, through meditation, and during dreams.
