Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration

The focus for today is:  I maintain an open heart and a reverence for life.

We possibly all have a bit of a perfectionist tendency. It was drilled into us by our educational system... always trying to be better than the other person... either in school, in sports, in looks, in being the best at something, and these days in the number of Facebook "friends".

But what really matters is how we deal with life... not so much the "what we do" but the "how we do it"... Do we act with love, with compassion, with an open heart? Or are we just set on attaining a goal in whatever way we can...

I'd like to share a quote from an article by Tami Coyne:

"...my life experience to date has taught me one thing: In the game of life, human perfection is not required, in fact it's not even possible. But a questioning soul, an open heart and a reverence for life will give you access to the big picture and inspire you to keep on going when things get tough."
