April 11, 2024

The focus for today is:

I avoid internal conflict and thus
stay on the path of being true to myself.

Today's inspiration was written by Matthew Baldwin, University of Florida:

As romantic as it sounds to have a true self that’s merely hiding behind a false one, it probably isn’t that simple. But that doesn’t mean authenticity shouldn’t be an something to strive for. This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of avoiding internal conflict (today and every day)

Comment from Marie: Our inner radar or compass will always let us know when we are off course. And one such signpost is inner discontent. If we are experiencing inner conflict, chances are we are not being true to our Self.

Our focus for today: I avoid internal conflict and thus stay on the path of being true to myself.

We humans have a habit of looking OUTside ourselves. Especially for the big things, like love and power and answers to our most challenging questions. And that gets us into all kinds of trouble. The purpose of this deck is to turn that around and practice looking INside ourselves for answers, and in the process, train the mind to ask better questions.
