A fellow set out to find a particular saint who lived in a remote village. The shopkeeper told him he would find the saint under a certain tree, teaching disciples. Excited, the seeker made his way to tree, but instead of finding the saint he saw a drunkard blabbing with a couple of guys.
Failure is a four-letter word. We cringe at the thought of it. The fear of it holds us back from pursuing our biggest dreams, but here’s the thing: there’s no such thing as failure. Life is not a game we are playing to win. Life just is, and what we choose to do with it is our business.
Our happiness depends on whether we believe something is good or bad. But most people are not aware of this important mechanism and they believe that it is outer circumstances and what they have or don’t have in their lives, which is the reason why they are happy or unhappy.
