InnerSelf Newsletter: March 20th, 2016

March 20th, 2016

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your Inner Self.

Some experiences in life seem like a dark tunnel and we wonder when (or if, or how) we'll ever get through the "yucky" part and reach the bright future awaiting us. This has been that kind of week at InnerSelf... and maybe for some of you as well.

Our apologies if you've experienced any problems with the website in the past few weeks. We've been working on getting a new website server up and running as the old one is no longer sufficient for the visitor traffic. A new computer brings along its challenges for everyone involved. We're very close to smoothing out all the kinks. If you come across any broken links or have any other problems with the website, please contact us using the Contact Form (located in the This and That menu)

By the way, if you've been thinking of donating to InnerSelf, now is a perfect time to donate as our monthly expenses have gone up. You can donate on a one-time-basis, or sign up for a monthly contribution of the amount of your choice (this is our preferred choice). ? Thank you! ?

Are You Sure You're Really Feeling Anger? So many women are still afraid of being called angry, still afraid of owning their own power, still of afraid of being called a “bitch” or not being feminine or not being spiritual. Loss Is A Wound and Its Healing Requires Courage

Written by Therèse Tappouni.

Loss Is A Wound: Healing Requires CourageLoss is a wound that creates a sea change in the way we see and experience our lives. It can’t be healed in our emotional body by applying a poultice of science, religion, or any other measurement. Grief is as individual as our face or our fingerprints.

The "Living in Harmony" section includes articles on Health & Well-Being, Home & Garden, Pets, Leisure & Creativity, Finance & Careers, and Science and Technology.

The "Personal Development" area covers Attitude Adjustments (which includes Fear, Anger, Gratitude, Forgiveness), Relationships & Parenting, Spirituality & Mindfulness (including Meditation), Intuition & Awareness (including astrology), and Happiness & Success.

"Social & Political" covers topics that affect us personally yet deal with a more "societal" or "political" sphere. This area covers Environment & Climate, Democracy, Justice, Inequality, Economy, and more. These topics are very relevant for our communal journey on Planet Earth.
