Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

All hands on deck! This is the call that is being issued at this time in our evolution. Everyone is a representative of Life Itself, and we each have a role to play... none bigger than the other. Everyone counts, no matter their job or their perspective. Just as no piece of a puzzle is any more important than any other, so we all matter. At this point in time on Planet Earth, it is essential that we all come to the fore and take part in the evolution of our society, in the health of our world, and in the creation of our future.

This week we bring you articles to help in that journey... Whether the journey is internal or external, it is all of the Essence. As I use the expression, "of the essence" I realize that it has two meanings... the common one being that it is essential. Yet the other is that we are all part of The Essence, or God, or the Universe, or of Life Itself -- that spark of Oneness that resides within each of us and which is the spark of our Being, the source of our breath and life.

We can no longer be bystanders in Life, watching others "do their thing", being entertained by, or judgmental of, the actions of others. It is time to reclaim our role, reclaim our power, reclaim our vision, and start doing "our thing", playing our role in the experience that is Life on Planet Earth.

No one is inconsequential. Whether you are educated or not, smart of not, good-looking or not, introvert or extrovert, etc., none of this matters when it is a time for "all hands on deck". We are all needed -- our perspective, our insights, our energy, our Love, is needed.

As Marianne Williamson famously wrote in her book Return to Love

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
